Center frequencies are the stated values, not frequency-tolerance limits. The electrical-characteristic test temperature is not stated in the supplied document. Operating ranges do not make every typical value a guaranteed limit throughout that range. “—” means not specified.
All four models specify stopband attenuation relative to 0 dB, but the frequency intervals and limits differ. Use the selected model’s limits at your system’s blocker frequencies.
Typical Applications
Select the wanted band in your receiver
VHF receiver filtering
Align the selected center frequency and specified passband with the receiver’s wanted-signal band.
RF front-end signal selection
Assess wanted-signal loss and out-of-band rejection using the model’s stated frequency intervals.
Superheterodyne IF stages
Evaluate the selected filter between the actual preceding and following IF stages, including their source and load conditions.
Functional application example only. This is not a validated schematic, pin-routing diagram or measured frequency response.
Integration Notes
Check the interface and operating limits
Source, load and PCB conditions
Use the specified 50 Ω source and load measurement conditions as the evaluation reference. Check the actual circuit impedances and PCB fixture.
For 262M, 265M and 268M, no external matching components are shown in the supplied measurement description. This does not establish a universal match to every circuit.
For 267M5, retain the stated 50 Ω ∥ 0 pF measurement model when interpreting the data; confirm the actual interface in your design.
Model-specific limits
Maximum RF input power is 10 dBm for all four models.
Maximum DC voltage is 3 V for 262M and 268M, and 5 V for 265M and 267M5.
Check the operating temperature for the selected model. The 265M storage range of −55 to +85 °C is not its operating range.
Maximum ratings are limits, not recommended operating targets.

Engineering Questions
Frequently asked questions
Are the 4, 8 and 15 MHz spans specified 3 dB bandwidths?
No. These spans describe the frequency intervals over which insertion loss and amplitude ripple are specified. The supplied FCom document does not specify a 3 dB bandwidth for any of the four models. Keep the passband endpoints and the bandwidth definition with every selection.
Which model has the widest specified passband interval?
FSF-5050-267M5 specifies insertion loss and ripple over 260–275 MHz, a 15 MHz interval. Its insertion loss is 3.2 dB typical / 5.0 dB maximum and its operating range is −10 to +50 °C. This interval alone does not establish suitability for a particular signal or modulation.
Do all four models cover −40 to +85 °C operation?
No. FSF-5050-262M is specified for −40 to +85 °C; FSF-5050-265M for −30 to +85 °C; and FSF-5050-267M5 and FSF-5050-268M for −10 to +50 °C. Storage temperature limits are separate from operating limits.
Does the 50 Ω test circuit remove the need to assess the interface?
No. The document uses 50 Ω source and load measurement conditions. For 267M5, it also states a 50 Ω in parallel with 0 pF input/output measurement model. Evaluate the actual source, load and PCB conditions; a model entry or a circuit without drawn matching components does not guarantee a universal match.
Are 262M and 268M interchangeable because both specify a 4 MHz interval?
No direct interchangeability is established. Their passbands are 260–264 MHz and 266–270 MHz, respectively, and their operating temperature ranges differ. Confirm the center frequency, full electrical limits, pin orientation and PCB interface before considering substitution.
What information should I send for selection and ordering?
Provide the selected model or center frequency, passband endpoints and bandwidth definition, source/load requirements, operating temperature, sample quantity and estimated usage. Include blocker frequencies and rejection targets if relevant. Confirm the complete ordering code and applicable specification with FCom before ordering.
