Compare the Two Configurations
The shared 20 MHz minimum does not make the bandwidth specifications equivalent: one is measured at 3 dB and the other at 2 dB relative to ILmin.

Electrical Specifications
Six Key Parameters per Model
“—” means no value is specified for that column; it does not mean zero. Typical values are design guidance. Final production specifications and tolerances are defined by the applicable official test limits and shipment CoC.

Neither supplied FCom page specifies separate passband attenuation limits or a reference measurement temperature. Device input and output impedances remain undefined. The bandwidths above are relative to ILmin and must not be relabeled as amplitude ripple.
Refer to the combined FCom PDF for source notes and package information. Confirm any additional rejection, input-power or DC requirement against the applicable FCom production specification.
Typical Applications
Application Fit
RF signal selection
Choose the 460 or 465 MHz option for the wanted signal frequency, keeping the required bandwidth and attenuation level together.
Receiver front-end filtering
Evaluate bandpass filtering ahead of later receiver stages. Check insertion loss, the required rejection and actual signal-level conditions.
Custom UHF designs
Select the model whose frequency, operating range and test conditions suit the custom RF design. Confirm the complete specification before design release.
Integration Notes
Confirm the Interface Before PCB Release
Source and load conditions
Both FCom documents describe a 50 Ω source and load measurement circuit with no external matching components shown. These test conditions do not specify intrinsic device port impedances.
Temperature and PCB interface
Preserve the selected model’s operating limits. In particular, do not use the 465 MHz storage range as its operating range. Check the pin functions, mounting view and actual source/load conditions before PCB release.
Package & Pin Assignment
Mechanical Interface
Both supplied model pages show a 5.0 × 5.0 mm, 8-pad leadless SMD package with a maximum height of 1.5 mm.
Use the applicable drawing in the combined PDF for dimensions and confirm the mounting view before PCB release. The photograph does not define pin orientation.
Pins 2 and 6 retain the FCom Input/Output designation. Confirm signal direction and the complete ordering configuration. Contact FCom for other pin-configuration requirements.

Engineering Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
Do both models have the same 20 MHz bandwidth?
Both list a minimum bandwidth of 20 MHz, but at different attenuation levels relative to ILmin: 3 dB for FSF-5050-460M and 2 dB for FSF-5050-465M. Their typical values are 24.5 MHz and 23.5 MHz respectively. These definitions must remain with each value.
Can the 465 MHz model operate from −40 to +85 °C?
The supplied FSF-5050-465M operating range is 0 to +50 °C. Its separate storage range is −40 to +85 °C. FSF-5050-460M specifies −40 to +85 °C for both operation and storage.
Are the device ports specified as 50 Ω?
The FCom documents specify a 50 Ω source and load for measurement. Device input and output impedances remain unspecified. The measurement circuits show no external matching components; check the actual source/load conditions and PCB implementation.
Are separate passband attenuation limits or a 25 °C test condition provided?
The supplied FCom pages do not specify separate passband attenuation limits or a reference measurement temperature. Keep the bandwidth definitions relative to ILmin, and do not add an assumed 25 °C condition or a passband-ripple value.
Are filters with the same frequency or package interchangeable?
Frequency and package size alone do not establish interchangeability. Check the exact model, bandwidth definition, insertion-loss limits, operating range, test conditions and pin assignment. Confirm the applicable production specification and complete ordering code.
What should I include in a selection inquiry?
Provide the selected model or center frequency, required signal band and bandwidth with its attenuation level, source/load requirements, operating temperature, input signal and DC conditions, sample quantity and estimated usage.
