Our Team & Expertise

When you contact FCom about technical issues, we won’t just give you a general answer. Instead, we’ll analyze the causes, solutions, and subsequent improvement strategies one by one. Your questions are handled by a team that truly understands technology.

The Team Behind the Precision

From initial design to final calibration, our team brings years of shared experience and relentless focus to every timing component we build.

R&D Engineering Team

Led by a chief engineer with 12 years in frequency control.

Precision Manufacturing Team

Staffed by career technicians trained in precision assembly.

Quality Assurance Team

An independent team with absolute pass/fail authority.

We Design the Crystal. Not Just the Circuit Around It.

This is the capability that separates FCom from most frequency component suppliers.
Relying on circuit compensation to fix standard crystal blanks becomes unreliable in extreme environments. FCom avoids this by engineering the crystal from the blank up:

FCom engineers the crystal from the blank up. Our in-house team designs specific cut angles and high-Q structures to natively achieve flat temperature responses, ultra-low phase noise, and minimal aging. We build performance inherently into raw material.

Because this expertise is platform-based, the foundational stability scales seamlessly across our portfolio, delivering consistent reliability from a 7050 OCXO down to a 2520 TCXO.
Tight stability across temperature and time
Micro-ampere supply current in active and standby modes
Sub-picosecond integrated phase jitter for high-speed digital
Ultra-low phase noise and optimized close-in noise floor
Extended thermal range with reliable startup up to 125°C
Spread-spectrum oscillator platforms for peak EMI reduction

Your Design. Our Support.

You don’t need to worry about unresponsive after-sales service. We stay through validation.
Beyond supplying devices, FCom provides practical validation guidance — one-on-one with your engineers.

Design Review

Before you fabricate the board, we review the clock section. Power supply routing, termination impedance, bypass capacitor placement — the details that determine whether the oscillator performs to specification or becomes the source of an intermittent problem. A 30 minute review before layout freeze saves weeks of debugging after.

Test Alignment

Jitter, phase noise, EMI — these are measured values that depend heavily on test conditions. We align our measurement setup with yours, so the data from our lab matches what you see on your bench. When a specification says 0.1 ps typical, we can show you exactly how it was measured and help you reproduce it.

Failure Analysis

When something does not work, we do not send a replacement and hope. We run a structured failure analysis: compare the failing unit to a known-good reference, isolate the root cause, and provide a report with findings and recommendations.
