Package & Pinout

Item Details
Package Size 5.0×5.0×1.5 mm (SMD)
Pin Assignment Pin 2: Input/Output
Pin 6: Output/Input
Pins 1, 3, 5, 7: To be grounded
Pins 4, 8: Case Ground
Layout Guidance Use a continuous RF ground reference. Stitch ground pins with multiple vias close to the pads. Keep RF routing short and avoid stubs. Treat case-ground pins as low-impedance ground connections.

Note: Pin 2 and Pin 6 are bidirectional depending on circuit topology. Pins 4 and 8 connect to the metal case and should be tied to a solid RF ground plane.

Design Recommendations

  • Ground strategy: connect pins 1, 3, 5, 7 to RF ground and add multiple vias around the device for low inductance.
  • Case ground: tie pins 4 and 8 (case ground) to the same low-impedance ground reference as the RF return path.
  • Short RF interconnect: minimize trace length between the resonator and RF IC/network; avoid dangling stubs.
  • EMI isolation: keep away from high-speed clocks and switching regulators; maintain clean reference ground.
  • Thermal robustness: confirm tolerance target across temperature for your end system (−40 to +85°C).
  • Custom options: if you need a special frequency/tolerance, share target MHz and kHz requirement via email.
