The FSX-5M is a seam-sealed SMD quartz crystal housed in a 5.0×3.2mm ceramic package, internally repalced by FCX-5M, offering high precision and excellent frequency stability. With wide operating temperature options and low equivalent series resistance (ESR), it is an ideal timing solution for communication modules, test equipment, and compact IoT devices.

Design Recommendations
Place a 0.1μF bypass capacitor near the crystal between Vdd and GND for power filtering. Match the specified load capacitance with the oscillator circuit to ensure optimal performance. Keep PCB traces short and symmetrical, and avoid placing high-frequency signals near the crystal layout to reduce EMI and drift.
